Today Nike has unveiled a visual illustration that captured the history of the Nike SB Dunks. According to Nike, this was done in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the SB Dunks. They say that the original Nike Dunks were made in 1985 and that they were naturally adopted by the skateboard community. Also, that in 2002, they were re-engineered by Nike SB to create the Nike SB Dunk. These shoes have continue to evolve in ways we would’ve never imaged (see NikeLab and Undercover collab) and they continue to be appreciated by many of us, not just sneaker enthusiasts and skateboarders. I see no acknowledgement of the illustrator. But I would have loved to commend him on the wonderful job he’s done. Have a look at the visuals below:
