My name is Tevin Fairclough, and I am the proud owner of Velvet Blue Ocean. VBO is a blog dedicated to fashion-forward menswear. I specifically started this blog not only because I love fashion and am incredibly intrigued by it, however, I got fed up of not seeing a representation or diversity of personal style being shown on different publications. I also didn’t see a variety of menswear blogs that chose to document the style of different male fashion enthusiasts, while doing so could really create an opportunity for people to be inspired in pushing the boundaries of menswear in a way that ushers in new styles and ideas. I saw that here were a great amount of underground streetwear brands that weren’t being talked about. Therefore I created Velvet Blue Ocean to be a publication of fashion forward menswear.
Velvet Blue Ocean will strive to inspire people by generating editorials, street style images, interviewing fashion enthusiasts and keeping you up to date with the latest news in streetwear. I would like to encourage people to continue stepping outside of the box. And Last, I would like to use my blog to admire people who have a very unique sense of style and succeed in being fashion forward.
