Kobe has officially introduced a new shoe to be a part of his signature shoe line. This show is called the Nike Kobe AD NXT that comes in both ‘Volt’ and ‘Wolf Grey.’ The shoes feature a unique lacing system with the laces and the flyknit upper both being infused together to give the shoe a stronger grip on your foot. The ends of the laces seem to hang through a loop in the tongue of the shoe, which makes them accessible to pull on just in case you need a tighter grip. Both shoes have a white midsole with a black Nike ‘swoosh facing the opposite direction of the shoe.
Some other cool things about this shoe are that the drop-in sole, which features a blend of cushioned foam and zoom air unit at the heel. These shoes also had some religious inspiration behind them as well. The circulation pattern was inspired by lotus flowers, which in Hinduism is a symbol of rebirth and spirituality. And lastly, the words “Unhinge,” meaning to disrupt a normal pattern and the words “End and Begin.” Take a look at the kicks below.
These shoes are expected to drop at Nike retailers on April 3rd for $200.
