Lacoste Fall Winter 2017

On the third day of NYFW Lacoste unveiled their fall 2017 collection. The collection consisted of various colorways such as navy, yellow, brown, olive green, etc. One thing I really like about this collection is the versatility of the pieces. It’s very easy to get away with wearing a majority of these pieces in a formal setting but also style them to wear in a more casual setting such as a party or running some street errands. I have never thought of Lacoste as a fashion forward brand. Part of the reason I say this is because the image I affiliate with this brand is of upper class, white, rich, jocks wearing polo shirts and chino shorts. However this collection definitely proved me wrong as I can now see the brand moving forward and creating style for a variety of customers to indulge in. The oversize coats, overalls,  sweatshirts and baggy trousers were all a surprise for me to see as products of Lacoste. I also appreciated the geometric designs of sweaters, trousers and jackets that have been on the rise in many runway shows for the Fall Winter 2017 seasons. And as if the collection wasn’t fire enough, the pieces that have already been released on the Lacoste website were not as expensive as I expected. I expected the pieces to range similarly to that of Ralph Lauren, which can be thousands. However, they were surprising ranged between the margin of $100-$200, as well as one jacket rising up to a striking $300. The Collection consisted of both menswear and womenswear pieces but I have separated the menswear pieces to share with you. To see the full collection please head to Nowfashion.com. Without further ado, I’m really excited to see more collections from this brand and I hope you are as well. Have a look at the collection below:
